A pearl 35 years in the family

(Minnesota)

When my mother was a young girl, her brother found a pearl in a shell in Minnesota and gave it to her. My mother gave it to me about 10 years ago and I'm wondering if it has any value. It is perfectly round as to what I can tell and it's a combination between white/cream and gold toned. Looks close to the fresh water pearls....

Kari's note: Price depends upon size, luster, shape, surface quality, etc. Natural pearls are very rare and since the restrictions put on gathering shells in Minnesota, finding pearls is even rarer. Since your pearl is round, the value will be higher than for a baroque shape. I'm from Minnesota myself and I'm curious about where it was found? Any photos?
