A Variety of Quahog Pearls

by John
(Fall River, MA)

My father has been a clam shucker for 25 years. He has come across a variety of pearls throughout those years. These pearls have been found from Narragansett Bay all the way to Connecticut Bay, and Cape Cod. Each of these pearls have there own unique shape size and color, but share a story behind each (hard work). There are four other pearls that have been sent to Vermont to a be examined by a pearl specialist, Antoinette Matlins. Thank you for checking them out, if you have any comments or questions feel free to ask.
