Early 2015, I visited a beach in Java Island, Indonesia. On the beach sand, I took some clams, sand, and other beautiful things as my collection. After few months, when I take in gemstone business I showed my collection to my friend and family. They tell me that one of the collection is a pearl. I am surprised. Then, I search via internet what kind of the pearl that I have.

The pearl has measurements 33x19x11mm. Weight 48.15 carats. Colour is white. It has sugary surface texture and banding inside. It is probably from Tridacna Gigas. The pearl was found out of the clam, when I found on the beach. So, it looks like nature also shaped the face of the pearl. So surface of the pearl has little various colour and natural shaped. This pearl has unique shape. It is same with a shoe.

I have combined this tridacna gigas pearl within silver pendant. The designer of the pendant is local designer. Many times needed to make and to conclude the design. The design is named Soul of Ocean and Beach. I have subscribed this jewelry to sell through karipearls.com
Thanks

Hi, It is neat that you found a pearl in the sand and that someone was able to tell you that you had a pearl in your shell collection!

I think it would make a neat pendant or something.

I have a page for selling clam pearls .

You are welcome to list it for sale on my site. There is no fee to list it on my site. Find out more about that
here.

God bless and thanks for telling us about your fun find.
