Found while eating oysters San Francisco Wharf

Pearl found Feb 2010

My husband ordered a dozen raw oysters while eating at Sabella's and De Torres on the wharf, in San Francisco California...of course I had to try a few. Chewing slowly to savor the moment, then I felt the hard substance, worked it to the front of my tongue, and behold...THE PEARL! (Thank goodness it was not a filling)

Although, it probably is not worth much, it was very exciting, and the folks at the restaurant were also excited, because it was one of the first to be found in there in a long time. It is now a keep sake and I had it mounted in a cage pendant.

Love the photo

Hi,

I love your retouched photo showing the pearl. Yes, good thing it wasn't a tooth you pulled out of your mouth.

Putting your pearl in a keepsake cage pendant is a great way to enjoy your natural pearl!

Have you received comments on it? If so, I bet it's been fun telling your story.
