I found a crab pearl today

Ate at Joe's Crabshack in Redondo Beach, CA tonight and found a pearl at the base of a king crab leg, at the first joint. It's about the size of a finger nail and has an opal like sheen to it. When held up to light it shines blue, green, red, yellow...I have pictures of it and if anyone would like to see it or inspect it personally contact me: Andy andolf83(AT)gmail(DOT)com

Hi Andy, Congrats on finding a crab pearl...sounds lovely. I'd like to find one of these someday. Don't get your hopes up about them being worth lots of money though, they are more of a collector's/keepsake item. It would be fun though to see lots of them made into something special. Thanks for sharing, Andy!
