On my anniversary eating oysters found this in my oyster shell. Just wondering what it may be.

It's hard to say from only a photo, but there appears to be a black blister pearl attached to the shell. Last week I was involved in a discussion about why some pearls from shells that normally produce white pearls are black and even the pearl experts themselves do not have clear answers to that question.
