MY BIG FIND IN FLA.

I WAS ON VACATION IN PORT ST. LUCIE, WHEN MY SISTER TOOK ME TO THE FARMERS MARKET. I PURCHASED 3 DOZEN CLAMS FOR MY SELF TO EAT, I STARTED EATING THEM, AND THOUGHT THAT I JUST HAD GRIT IN MY MOUTH, THEN I PULLED OUT THIS PEARL. I DIDN'T KNOW THAT YOU COULD FIND PEARLS IN CLAMS, BUT I GUESS I WAS WRONG! I TOOK IT TO THE JEWELERS, AND WEIGHED IT, IT WEIGHS 1.1 GRAMS. NOT SURE WHAT I AM GOING TO DO WITH IT YET. MAYBE MAKE A RING! I AM VERY EXCITED ABOUT THIS FIND!!

Wow, 1.1 grams is pretty large for a quahog pearl -- that's 5.5 carats! What are the dimensions in millimeters? What color is it? Do you have any pictures you can share?
