Pearly Dove Necklace

Pearly Dove Necklace

At one time, my husband's grandfather George had a carpentry workshop and on the second floor he had a small museum. He collected assortments of items from the Muscatine, Iowa area. In his museum he had a button cutting machine and other items from the button industry. The items from the button industry were given to the city museum, but I saved two hand carved buttons, a dove and a eagle. When I first met Kari and became aware of her pearl business, I realized I could make pearl jewelry with these buttons. This started my own pearl jewelry collection.

Added sparkle

Deb, you have a way of adding just the right amount of sparkle and vintage mother of pearl pendant to make an ordinary pearl necklace into a stunning piece. I enjoy having a friend who shares love of pearls and love of vintage local mother of pearl items. Thanks for sharing!
