At 63 grams or 314 carats-we are claiming it to be the largest pearl found in the state of Oklahoma, possibly the largest found in the continental Americas, and for its species maybe the largest in the world.

Yes, this is a very large pearl. Please tell us what species it is from and the details of how it was found. Just curious, too, it looks like it is attached to a shell at the base. Is that right?
