Wanting to Buy a Quahog Pearl

by Kari Anderson
(Muscatine, IA, USA)

A visitor to this website who works with young cancer patients, giving them some joy by learning about and handling real gemstones, is wanting to purchase a purple Quahog pearl of at least 3mm. She's willing to pay up to $300.

She's working with a little fellow right now who is anxious to hold one of these pearls.

Anyone interested in selling a purple Quahog 3mm (at least) pearl for up to $300 please contact me.

Many thanks!
Kari

Blue pearl
by: Kari

Hi Mandy,

Here are several colored pearls from saltwater blue mussels. See New Brunswick, Canadian pearls.

Blue pearl??
by: Mandy

Kari, do you have any pictures of that blue pearl? I'd be really interested to see it. A purple pearl was hard enough to imagine... :)

Thanks!

Request has been filled

I've located a blue pearl for Steve, Sue's patient. It wasn't a quahog, but from a blue mussel. She also purchased a natural pink pearl.

See the story about her young cancer patient here.
