Yes!!

by Anissa

This isn't super interesting, but we just found a pearl in a king crab leg. It isn't opalescent like a regular pearl, but it is a nice sized white stone. It was in a box of frozen, precracked legs. We were a little taken aback so I jumped online to do some research and here we are.
I make jewelry, so I think I will see what I can do with it.

I'd like to see

Hello Anissa,

I'd like to see what you do with your crab "pearl" and you are right about them not being like other pearls, as these are not technically pearls, but because of the similarities we are including them on this site.

Making your surprise find into a creative piece of jewelry is a super idea!

Thanks for sharing.
