Pearl in Colorado Crablegs

by Duane Lucas
(Greeley CO)

On 12/19/2010, we were dinning at our local Red Lobster. I had ordered their King Crab legs. In one of their Large Claws, something fell out as I was digging at the meat. A white large, white, pea size thing went clunk on my plate. I ask the waitress to find out from the Chef what it could be and he confirmed that it is right but Crabs do make pearls and it appears to be one.

Interesting crab pearl
by: Kari

Hi Duane...it's always interesting to hear about these crab pearls. Someone needs to gather them together and make a necklace or something. It will be a nice keepsake maybe put into a little silver cage on a necklace. I appreciate you taking the time to add photos and your story. Thank you and have a very Merry Christmas!
