Alabama oyster with pearl

Got some oysters from a buddy who bought then from Bon Secour, Alabama. I sucked the oyster and bit into it and found what I thought was a shell. I then spit it out to find it was a pearl..I have no idea what I'm going to do with it..doubt it's worth much but still cool.

I bought some Bon Secour oysters ( the restaurant bought them from there) and I also found the same size pearl!! Even though it's small it was fun to find!!!

Congrats on finding a pearl...even if these kind of pearls do not have great value, it's still a thrill to find a treasure in your dinner.
