My Cream Pearl

It was Christmas Day and my family and I were ripping off the wrappers off the gifts. Then I found a box. I opened it and inside there was a mussel.I was disgusted. My mom came over she said there was something inside the mussel. I opened it and inside there was a cream pearl. My mom said it was from the ocean and that it would give me luck. Then my mom gave me an empty necklace and said it was for the pearl so I put it in. It looked so beautiful in the necklace that I almost cried. I was so happy and I've worn the pearl ever since.
