Three Blue Mussel pearls

by John Yaskanich
(Sheffield Lake, OH 44054)

I found three pearls in a giant 7 3/4 inch blue mussel shell off the coast of California in Fort Bragg, California. But actually the shells were on my back porch when I decided to look more closely at the shells before I ate breakfast.

Very interesting
by: Kari

Hi John, Oh, that's very interesting...to find pearls on your porch in a shell. Glad you took a closer look, sure you are too. What will you do with your blue mussel pearls? I'm going to be adding a few soon for sale on my site from Maine. Nice, small saltwater natural pearls. It would be nice to see a photo. Just add another page and let me know it's you so I can add it to this one for you. Thanks for taking the time to share. I love hearing about natural pearl finds! God bless.
