Tim Found a Quahog Pearl

by Timothy

I was at a seafood restaurant in Litchfield Connecticut a few months back and ordered some Quahog Clams for dinner. Upon eating one clam I felt a hard object in my mouth. Turns out it was a black/purple pearl. I've been doing some research online and it seems that the Quahog pearl is very rare. I'm not sure what to do with this pearl seeing as I am not a collector of jewelry. The pearl measures about 1/4 inch in diameter.
