Trash to Treasure

by diane
(charlotte, NC)

pearls found in junk store

pearls found in junk store

Somebody's junk became my treasure.

I was rummaging in a junk store and found what looked to be a pair if 6mm screwback pearl earrings. They passed the tooth test so I carefully bundled them with some junk jewelry and offered the woman one dollar, which she accepted. I have my one dollar pearls and I love them.

There is good stuff hidden in junk.

Diane, finding pearls in junk stores is always fun, it's happened to me a few times too and is always thrilling. Thanks for sharing about your successful treasure hunt! Kari
