One man trash is another man's gold

A friend of mine's mother had passed away and she asked me if I would mind helping her clean out her storage when I helped her clean out the storage she gave me boxes and boxes of things that of her mother's that she didn't even go through but she really didn't want anymore as I went through the stuff there was a lot of antiques and things like that and also found a necklace and bracelet that has a round diamond clasp on it that's a 925 clasp the pearls I'm sure are real because they're really heavy they have great luster and they're cool to the when I put them next to my skin and so I'm just trying to figure out what I have if you can help me in this matter I would appreciate it greatly thank you for all your help.

Hi, Sounds like fun to be given "treasure boxes" to go through. Since 925 is the symbol for sterling silver, it is not likely that the stones are genuine diamonds. The pearls are most likely cultured freshwater Chinese pearls which are so very prevalent and numerous everywhere. I suggest taking it to a local jeweler to have that confirmed.

At any rate, it's lovely and that's what counts too. If you like something, then be sure to enjoy it.
