Golden Pearl Ring

by Debra Kerr

This beautiful natural pearl ring was made for my son. His great grandfather found the pearl when he was working in the Button factory so it is quite old. The pearl is from the Mississippi River and gold streak is natural making it unique as well as beautiful.

Exciting Mississippi River pearl
by: Kari

Hi Debbie,

Thanks for sharing about your son's pearl ring. I can't wait to see it in person. I love the local history here with the Mississippi River pearls and pearl jewelry made from them.

It seems so many in our city of Muscatine have river pearls...and just think how many are still "out there".

It's neat that you exposed the side with the gold streak in it. It makes the pearl much more interesting.

A nice manly setting! Thanks, Debbie!
