Ugly but unique

My wife and I purchased 20 lbs of King Crab legs, we cooked 3 legs and a claw immediately, as I was biting down on the meat from the claw and thought I had broken a tooth on what I had no idea. After a little research come to find out that Crabs also have pearls. That's one hell of a way to discover that crabs have pearls.

OMG! That’s the exact same pearl looking rock that I bit into! I started googling to find out what it was and low and behold this picture is the same pearl I bit into as well!! Neat! Well since it’s worthless, in the trash it goes! Just grateful it wasn’t something that was unknown or something out of this world!😳🤣😂

Glad you didn't break a tooth. Yes, quite the way to find out about these things. I don't they qualify as official pearls but that's the best word to use to explain them I guess.
