Natural Pearl Blue Mussel

My son ordered Puttanesca which came with blue mussels. He gave the mussels to me and as I was eating one I bit down on a large hard stone. When I looked at the object it was an almost perfect round bright white pearl about half a centimeter or 5 mm. I am looking to sell it if anyone is interested.

Thanks for sharing about finding a blue mussel pearl. Whenever I eat these at a restaurant I always have my hopes up that maybe I will find a pearl. I'm glad your son found one. Thanks for the photos. We love to see photos!
