Purple Pearl

Purple Pearl

My sister and I were enjoying a trip to the Outer Banks, NC We purchased a bag of clams and in one of those clams was a beautiful purple pearl. I have recently started to hear stories surfacing about these pearls. So I have been searching for more info. My pearl is the size of a pea,all purple with a small white center (like an eye).
