Pine Island, Florida oyster treasure found hanging on seawall.

Pine Island, Florida oyster treasure found hanging on seawall.

While sitting on the seawall, watching the little wood crabs play among the oysters, I spotted this little treasure. The shell was adhered to the wall. I'm guessing that it is a pearl. It measures 12mm x 15mm. There is a hole in it measuring 1mm x 4mm. He's just another member of my rock and shell collection.
