Pink Pearl In my Snow Crab legs~

by Melissa McGlothlen

I was enjoying my lunch today at Red Lobsters. I ordered the snow crab legs and couldn't wait to taste them. I cracked open the long leg and found a nice fillet of meat. When I started chewing, I bit down on something hard. I thought my tongue ring had come loose again. When I pulled it out of my mouth to figure out what it was, I noticed that it looked like a pink pearl. I didn't get to keep it long before one of the managers walked by and saw what I was looking at. They took it to show the GM and to figure out what it was, and I never saw it again. They said they had thrown it away! :( It was pretty awesome to find, I just wish that I got to keep it!

Oh dear!

Hi Melissa,

Oh, dear! I don't think it's fair that the restaurant took your pearl...after all you paid for the crab, right? You don't seem to be bitter about it, so that's good and I'm glad too that you at least got to see it and enjoy it for a moment. I wonder if the pink color would have stayed...but we'll never know about that one anyway.
