Scallop pearls??

I have been enjoying Bay of Fundy scallops for many years .. Today I found what I assume are scallop pearls… seven in one meat!! I would like someone either to confirm or negate these are pearls

Hello Maureen,

I would say if you found them in scallop meat, that they are most likely scallop pearls! Difficult to say from a photo alone but if they were in scallop meat and scallops from the Bay of Fundy, there's a very good chance they are natural pearls!

Thank you for sharing! Maybe you can have something special made from them as a keepsake.
