Hey, That's a Pearl!

Steamed off a batch of little neck quahogs, and found a pearl(round, dark purple, about 3/16 of an inch). I've found peals in mussels and an occasional oyster, but never in a quahog.


Pretty little thing.I'll try to post a picture.
