I found a purple and white pearl in a quahog

Diving for hard clams in coutit cape cod i caught my limit to take home to make chowder.while shucking one a pearl popped out it wasnt round but was half inch long by a quarter wide deep purple on one side white on other.the shell itself has a horn shaped pocket the pearl fits in perfectly. I"ve had it for years but is it worth any thing?
