My South Sea Pearl

I purchased this from what was left of the stock of Jeweler in New York that went out of business 10 years ago. Sold to me by the owners daughter who inherited quite a bit of pearls and jewelry. This one caught my eye because it reminded me of a large sharks tooth I used to wear many years ago. It is a little over 46 carats. Not sure how to make it into a pendant yet. It may just be a piece I can pull out and adore from time to time.

Interesting pearl

Hi Dana, That looks like a fun pearl to work with. Eventually you might see a figure in it like this ancient sea horse pendant. I love pieces like that. I'd love to see what you do with it. Sounds like your purchase had some real treasures in it. Thank you for sharing! God bless, Kari
