NZ paua pearl find

NZ paua pearl find

My husband is a leisure diver. I usually keep his paua shells for one-day when I decide to get creative. 2 days ago I was cleaning out a bucket of paua shells that had been sitting for some weeks when all of a sudden, 1 shell rolled out and landed at my feet. I noticed a blister and none of the other shells had them so after some online search, I have realized it is a paua pearl. I know nothing about them however I am in awe of its beauty.

Oh, I love it.

Thanks for sharing...what a lovely blister pearl there. Did you leave it attached? Or could it easily be taken off? Did you do something special with it? If you made something out of it, I'd love to see it.

It's neat how it rolled out to you....like, "Look at me! I'm special! I'm a gift for you!"

So, what creative things do you do with the shells? I'd love to see that too.

Enjoyed reading this! Thanks and God bless, Kari
