Purple pearl found

Purple pearl found

Almost broke my tooth on this last night. I didn’t know clams had pearls in them. I was pretty excited to find it. I’ve eaten a ton of oysters, mussels, and clams in my life. Never figured I’d find a pearl, especially a purple one in a clam. Figured it was worth 3 or 4 dollars, then I started looking on the web. Apparently there worth more than I thought.

Anyone have an idea on what this thing is worth? It’s 3.5 carat’s and looks to be very reflective.
