My purple pearl

30 years ago while eating clams with my grandmother I found a purple pearl. All of these years I thought it was just a piece of rock. I did not know it was really a pearl until today. I saw an article about a woman finding a rare purple pearl that was worth 3,000.00. When I saw it I now know that I have one of those pearls.

Wow, all I can say it you are lucky that you kept what you thought was a pretty rock all these years!

I have lots of pretty rocks that are hard to part with and also hard to manage sometimes :) but I'm sure none of them are pearls.

You must have kept it in a nice safe place to be able to find it again.

Congratulations many years latre on your rare and fantastic find. The purple ones seem to be the most desirable and yours is a beauty!
