Flat Abalone Pearl Pendant

Flat Abalone Pearl Pendant

This large pendant abalone pearl is attached to a 1/2 oz solid 14 kt gold jewel clasp. Custom designed by my dive buddy, Randy Shores, an accomplished goldsmith. The pendant has nacre, the pearl color, on only one side. The other side is like a shell covered in thick rich varnish. Like the outer edge of pearl. The pearl weighs 4 grams. It is about the size of an old silver dollar. A little larger than the picture. It is for sale for 2k. Chain not included.

Another beautiful pendant
by: Kari

Yes, this is also a gorgeous pendant. I like Randy's designs with the gold shell. It works very nicely with the abalone pearl.

My parents brought back an abalone shell from Catalina Island in California and as a kid I enjoyed just gazing at this beautiful shell with all the incandescence. Now, it's fun to see and learn about the amazing pearls that come from abalone.

Thank you for taking the time to add a photo of your lovely abalone pearl pendant!

God bless!
